Laser wall example caught on video
This laser wall wasn’t created using a line optic and the divergence / power controlled to ensure a safe MPE. Instead it is likely using a standard scanning laser beam. Ignoring the eye damage risk, look at what happens to the iPhone camera sensor as it is passed through twice:
