Rekordbox Lighting Guide & Tools

I DJ using Rekordbox, and I was drawn to its Lighting Mode for one standout reason: it has a game-changing feature. Because Rekordbox already has detailed information about the track you’re playing, it can generate perfectly synchronized lighting—not just beat-matched, but phrase-matched, with dynamic scene changes that follow the structure of the music.

That said, Lighting Mode feels like a feature that’s nearly—but not quite—finished. While incredibly powerful, it suffers from a few minor quirks and a serious lack of user-friendly documentation. So, I decided to fill in the gaps myself. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re willing to invest a little time, Rekordbox Lighting Mode can be an amazing tool for creating professional, tightly synced lightshows.
