One of the “Interlude” scenes can be manually turned on from the Performance mode lighting bar and while on its associated lighting scene will be forced on. Any lighting scenes associated with playing tracks are ignored while an interlude scene is active.

They are a handy way to set some basic lighting for early evening say, a special part of an event, etc. Even to set all lights off. Because its a normal lighting scene that is used, you can program something static, or use the timeline to have all of the normal movement of lighting effects occurring while its active.
